Pavan A. Gupte, Independent Advisor, Former Head of Asia, Hermes GPE and Chief Strategy Officer, CVCI Private Equity
Mr. Gupte is currently an Independent Advisor to a select group of International Institutions and Family Offices. He was previously the Chief Strategy Officer and a member of Management Committee of CVCI Private Equity, investing in businesses across Global Emerging Markets. In 2010, he helped merge Gartmore Private Equity with Hermes Private Equity to be a founding member of Hermes GPE, a $8b AUM Global Private Equity specialist in London, where he became the Head of Asia. During 2003-2010, he was a founding member of Gartmore Private Equity, a $3b AUM division of Gartmore Investment Management, where he led coverage of European and the Emerging Markets for Fund investing and Co-investing as Dy. Managing Director. From 2000 till 2002, Mr. Gupte was in London as a Principal and a founding member of Adams Street Partners, a global private equity business, where he co-led the Asian Fund investment team. Prior to his involvement in private equity, he worked at KBC Bank NV’s Indian business, where he led the building of the corporate credit business and at ICICI Ltd., focusing on lending to greenfield and brownfield projects in Western India.
Pavan has earned a B.Com. degree and an M.B.A. degree, both from Mumbai University and has completed the Executive Course on Private Equity from Harvard Business School. He has been a regular speaker, particularly on subjects such as Private Equity in Emerging Markets, Asset Allocation and Indian Private Equity at various Global Private Equity events since 2004. During 2003 till 2011, he has been an Advisory Board member of numerous private equity funds investing in Europe, China, India, Australia and across Asia.

Mr. Pavan Choudary is the Managing Director of Vygon, a leading French Multinational in the field of Healthcare, He is the bestselling author of Healthcare and Management books like The Rx Factor and How a Good Person Can Really Win. He also has as his co-authors Dr. Kiran Bedi, the Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry & Mr Anil Shastri, Ex Union Finance Minister. He has done a column with the Times of India, currently writes for Firstpost and is the TV Host of “Hum Aisey Kyun Hain” where he takes up several healthcare issues with leading doctors and policy makers of the country.
Two areas in medicine are especially close to his heart, Patient Safety & Quality in Healthcare and Safe Neonatal Vascular Access. He is the main person behind the Neonatal PICC movement in India. He is also one among the only two industry members, nominated by the GOI on the DTAB Sub Committee for provision of compensation for Medical Device Malfunction.
He is the recipient of several awards like the Intellectual Icon of the year award, Business Excellence Award, Eric Hoffer Award etc. He sits on some of the most prestigious advisory boards/boards of India in the commercial and socio-political space. Pavan Singh, Deputy General Manager (Marketing), Amul
As National Marketing Head of the core dairy business of Amul India (GCMMF), Pavan's portfolio includes its flagship dairy categories along with wide range of emerging and upcoming product categories. His responsibility include continuous growth acceleration in volumes and value, enhancement in market share as well as portfolio profitability, category expansion, synergistic businesses diversification, macro supply chain management, customer base expansion, penetration into new geographies, investment planning and general health management of the business. For Pavan's portfolio, he is also responsible for long term strategic planning, creating business roadmaps including macro-forecasts for both demand and supply side of the business. In addition, Pavan heads Amul’s business for all verticals, through offline Modern Trade and online E-grocery channels. He is also responsible for new business diversification synergistic with his portfolio, including identification, development, evaluation, commercialization and eventual launch of new products. Pavan also part of the core team of brand custodians for Brand Amul responsible for planning and executing all activities aimed at managing & strengthening equity of the umbrella brand. He has received the Best CMO Award in March 2016, at Pitch CMO Summit and is also Director on Board on three organizations as nominee of Amul (GCMMF).

Pavitra Shankar, Executive Director, Brigade Enterprises Limited
Ms. Pavitra Shankar is an Executive Director at Brigade Enterprises Limited, a publicly listed real estate development company, based in Bangalore, India. To date, Brigade has built over 66 million square feet across the residential, office, retail, hospitality and education sectors in South India. Pavitra has over 18 years of experience in consulting, private equity and real estate development. At Brigade, she is responsible for the strategy and growth of Brigade’s residential business, with a strong focus on sales, marketing, finance and customer experience. She also drives technology initiatives and digital transformation within the company.
Prior to Brigade, Pavitra ran Legion Real Estate in Menlo Park, California, which provided business development and real estate marketing consultancy to Indian developers targeting the NRI market in North America. Prior to Legion, Pavitra was responsible for portfolio analytics and fund operations at Rockwood Capital LLC in San Francisco, a real estate private equity firm with over $8 billion in assets under management through commingled funds and separate accounts. She has also held positions in Willis Towers Watson, a human capital consulting firm, in their Retirement Practice and Corporate Finance teams.
Pavitra holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Virginia, and a Master's in Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from Columbia Business School, where she received the prestigious Alexander Bodini Real Estate Fellowship.

Pavninder Singh, MD, Bain Capital
Mr. Singh joined Bain Capital in 2001. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mr. Singh was the co-CEO of Medrishi.com, a healthcare services site. Prior to that, he was a consultant at Mercer Management Consulting where he consulted in the e-commerce, retail, and energy industries.
Mr. Singh received an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar. He received a BA from Harvard College.

Pawan Bakhshi, Head - Airtel Money, Bharti Airtel
Dr. Pawan Bakhshi has about 20 years of experience out of which the last 10 have been with Bharti Airtel in various roles. He has been credited with several firsts in the mobile industry, including introduction of Knowledge Management, e-learning, eCommerce, Mobile Commerce, etc. He is currently Business Head - Airtel Money, Airtel's mCommerce venture.
He has been focusing his attention on mobile commerce for the last several years, besides pioneering mCommerce in Airtel, he has done extensive work in South Asia as the co-lead for mCommerce for SingTel’s International Group covering 7 developing countries in Asia.
Dr. Bakhshi has a PhD in Management from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar university, Agra and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from IMI, New Delhi. His undergraduate degree is in Economics from Delhi University.
