Nitin Padmawar, Co founder and CTO, Martjack

Nitin Padmawar, Co-Founder and CTO at Reasoning Global eApplications Ltd. is a serial entrepreneur who has co-founded a software services venture before co-founding successful B2B2C SaaS based Omni-channel digital commerce startup Martjack Enterprise (martjack.com) with group of like minded mates.

Nitin is excited about technology and its application to business problems. At Martjack Nitin has been instrumental in architecting and designing a scalable & reliable cloud based platform which forms the heart of its enterprise offering and also powers its catalog and demand aggregation platform martjack exchange. His roles have typically comprised of Product management & Technology leadership, including module planning, development to strategizing the entry into new business line through product route.

In his first venture, Technobahn InfoTech, Nitin was instrumental in developing core solutions for various enterprise clients and his experience is broadly varied across mobile, Internet & enterprise applications.

Deriving from his broad experience, Nitin has been working on technologies that leverage cloud computing, social media, the Internet and mobile platforms to build the next generation digital commerce solutions at Reasoning.

He is known for offering practical and solution-oriented business advice to clients. He is a keen observer of the evolution of the law regulating Takeovers in India. He has been part of several high profile corporate takeover battles including, defending hostile bids.

Nitin also has extensive experience in Private Equity transactions including leveraged buyout transactions & exits. He has provided strategic advice to a variety of companies receiving Private Equity investment.  Prior to joining JSA, Nitin was a Partner with Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co. Prior thereto, he worked with Crawford Bayley & Co. as a Senior Associate. Nitin is a frequent speaker at several conferences and seminars organized by leading industry, institutions, and chambers on subjects like, Takeover Code, M&A, and structuring of Joint Ventures.

He was member of the International Bar Association – Anti-trust section & India Advisory Group. Currently, Nitin is a member of the Executive Committee of the Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce & a Member of the Managing Council of the Chamber of Tax Consultants.

Nitin is a Chaiwala, who is Mechanical engineer by education and helped save his clients millions of dollars in his past life as a management consultant. He is the founder of Chaayos, NCRs biggest chai cafe chain. With their amazing chais, Chaayos is trying to revolutionise the way India drinks Chai. Nitin is a big Formula 1 fan and in his free time he likes to work upon his daughters puzzle books.

Nitin joined Avendus from Standard Chartered Bank where he was Managing Director & Head of the Wealth Management business. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, he spent 17 years with HSBC in a variety of roles, with his last role as the Global Head of Fund Strategy for HSBC Private Bank, based in London. Nitin holds an MBA degree from IIM, Bangalore and is a graduate in Economics from Delhi University.
