Nitin is responsible for the payment solutions business for ibibo. He started his career as an investment banker with Lehman brothers in their London office. He was in the Fixed income division working across asset classes - ABS, Rates, FX and Commodities - both in structuring and sales. He also later setup a similar desk for them in Mumbai. He then founded and ran one of the largest couponing companies in India, www.khojguru.com, which was the only profitable couponing company in India in 2010. He is a Computer Science Engineer from IIT Delhi and a MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.

Nitin has played an integral role in the Edelweiss’ transformation from a boutique investment bank into a diversified financial services company, and is member of the core management committee. Highly regarded as a strategic thought leader within the group, extensive multi asset class investment experience across local and global markets.

Nitin is actively involved with EdelGive Foundation - the strategic philanthropic arm of the Edelweiss Group and is a part of their investment committee. Nitin has done his B.Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, with Post Graduation in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Nitin is married and has two children.

Nitin Jain is the Banking & Financial Services Partner for PwC, India and focuses on Strategy & Digital for Banking, Insurance and Capital Markets on business transformation, operating model, digital transformation, cost efficiency and go to market strategy. He has led and been involved in many strategic and transformation engagements with large private & public sector banks, wealth managers, insurers and other financial institutions including digital lending and partnerships.

Over the past 23 years, he has worked at C Level positions where he was instrumental in setting up and running private banking, financial services distribution, asset management, insurance and capital markets broking. Over the years, he has created digitally led asset-lite models for businesses that have resulted in double digit ROE for stakeholders. He has a track record of setting up multiple successful greenfield businesses, reinvigorating businesses and turning loss making units in profit within a short span of time.


Nitin Kulkarni, ED & COO, Persistent Systems Ltd

Nitin Kulkarni is the Chief Operating Officer of Persistent Systems Limited. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electronics from Mumbai University in 1988 and a Master’s Degree in Engineering in Electronics from VNIT, Nagpur University in 1991. Prior to joining Persistent Systems Limited in 2006, he worked with NELCO, Mumbai from 1991 to 1992 as a Senior Systems Engineer. He subsequently worked with Siemens Information Systems Limited from October 1992 to February 1996 as a Senior Systems Analyst and with Infosys Technologies Limited between May 1996 to November 2006 in various roles in two tranches ranging from Project Manager to Assistant Vice President and Development Center Head.

Nitin Kulkarni is now designated as an ‘Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer’ of the Company.

Nitin Mishra, SVP - Product Management, Netmagic

Nitin Mishra is Senior Vice President, Product Management at Netmagic, an NTT Communications Company. Among his colleagues at Netmagic, he is known as the Man Who Builds Tomorrow. In his 14 years at Netmagic, Nitin has been at the forefront of productizing future technologies helping Netmagic enter new business areas before its competition and gain first mover advantage. These include the complete hosting and managed Hosting, Cloud computing, DRaaS & Security services service portfolio.

Tracking what Nitin is working on is the best way to know what new products and services will be introduced in the datacenter business. One of his key achievements has been the conceptualization and developing a go-to-market strategy for its fastest growing service line - SimpliCloud and expanding the services into areas like Tiered storage and complementing with cloud based Web firewalls like services

As one of the earliest team member, Nitin has also played a crucial role is other aspects of the business including helping bringing in early investors, managing various aspects of marketing, solution engineering and sales.

Nitin's responsibilities in prior positions with companies such as VSNL and HCL Comnet have spanned hands-on Internet operations, product and project management. AT HCL Comnet (1998 to 2000), Nitin was instrumental in their Remote Infrastructure Management (RIM) services rollout.

As a key contributor to the evolution of the Datacenter industry in India and a core member of Netmagic's start-up team, Nitin has a wealth of knowledge and expertise on the enterprise IT infrastructure environment.

His authored articles have appeared in many industry publications and he frequently speaks on Cloud & Infrastructure Management at various industry events. Nitin holds an engineering degree in computer science from VJTI in Mumbai and a PGDBM degree from XLRI in Jamshedpur.

His favourite books include The Fountainhead, Jonathan Livingston Seagull and The Alchemist. Always a man of action, he lives by his favourite quote (Hindi), “Jab soch gehri ho, to iradein kamzor pad jate hain” (When one thinks too deeply and beyond a point, one loses his conviction and it results in inaction).


Nitin Nayar, Founder & Managing Partner, Filter Capital India

Nitin launched Filter Capital India in 2018. Nitin brings 14 years of investment advisory experience from his tenure with the India affiliate of US-based global investment firm Warburg Pincus LLC, including six years as a Managing Director (2012-17), where he spearheaded the company’s investment advisory activities in the technology sector in India. In his role as Managing Director, Nitin evaluated close to 300 opportunities in technology and tech-enabled businesses including Internet and e-commerce, software and IT services, payments, logistics, education and health. He oversaw investments of over $200 million in three notable Internet and software businesses: Quikr, CarTrade, and Capillary Technologies.
