Nalin Kumar, MD, Rabo India Finance Ltd.

Nalin Kumar is the Managing Director and Head of Merger & Acquisition and Equity Capital and Advisory in India. Nalin has over 17 years of experience encompassing M&A, Debt, Equity Capital Markets and Banking.

Nalin started his banking career with HSBC in 1993. Thereafter he moved into investment banking with J.P. Morgan Chase. He had worked in New York, Singapore and Hong Kong offices of J.P. Morgan Chase initially supporting the Project, Structured Finance and Restructuring Groups in Asia, and subsequently as a key member of the Asian M&A effort working on several landmark transactions across industry verticals in key Asian markets.

He joined DSP Merrill Lynch in their Indian operation in the year 2001. Here he led important M&A and Capital Market transactions across sectors. Prior to Rabo India he was with JM Morgan Stanley, where he was working since 2005. At JM, he lead the Financial Sponsors Group and worked across sectors.

Nalin is a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.

Namita Dalmia, Principal, Omidyar Network

Namita is a principal at Omidyar Network where she leads education investments in India.  Prior to joining Omidyar Network, Namita spent five years as associate director at Central Square Foundation, where she led the education technology vertical. She helped to incubate and invest in non-profit organizations and partnered with the government.

Previously, Namita was a design analyst at Education Elements, working closely with the engineering and consulting team to design a hybrid learning management system.Before Education Elements, she worked with the National Knowledge Commission, supporting the Prime Minister’s Office to develop policy encompassing education and related areas.

Namita received her MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and received a dual degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.


Namrata Bostrom, Co-Founder & CEO, POPxo.com

Namrata Bostrom drives the commercial aspects of the company. She combines a background in management consulting with a love for fashion and a flair for marketing and branding.

Namrata’s vision is to grow POPxo into India’s largest digital media platform for women, helping readers learn about new trends, identify the best merchandise, and make informed purchase decisions. She also wants to help kick-start the emerging field of native advertising in India, offering to brands a range of innovative digital advertising formats that are both engaging and cost-effective.

Namrata has lived and worked in 4 cities around the world, growing up in Delhi, attending University in Oxford, and working in London and Singapore.

In London, Namrata worked with EDITD, an innovative fashion data analytics start-up, helping them grow sales and define the product roadmap. Prior to that she spent three years with the Boston Consulting Group where she worked with some of the world's largest banks and retailers, on pricing, new market entry and operational efficiency projects.

She has a Masters in Economics from Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar, and an MBA from London Business School, where she was a C200 scholar. Namrata also led London Business School's flagship entrepreneurial leadership series (the TELL Series).

Namrata is an incessant traveller, hopping across continents in a bid to discover local cultures through hidden cafes, restaurants and bars. She's been known to attempt to recreate those local cuisines (with limited success) in her own kitchen.

Nanda Rackanchath, Chief Human Resources Officer, Tata Chemicals

Mr. Nanda is currently the Chief of Human Resources at Tata Chemicals Limited, based in Mumbai. Tata Chemicals is an 80+ year old Tata Group company with interests in Basic Chemicals (Soda Ash, Salt, Sodium bicarbonate, Bromine, Cement etc) & Specialty Chemicals (Agri Chemicals, Nutritional ingredients, Advance Silica) with manufacturing facilities spread across India, UK, USA and Africa.

Mr. Nanda has been associated with the Tata Group since 2006 when he joined to head the Human Resources function at Tata Communications Ltd. In May 2012, he moved to Tata Chemicals and is a member of the Executive Committee, overseeing the global functions of Human Resources & Administration, Corporate Communications, Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility.

Mr. Nanda has nearly 37 years of rich experience across varied sectors like manufacturing, trading, retail, consumer durables, FMCG, telecom and services across several companies in India and overseas. He has completed his Post Graduation in Human Resources and has also done several professional certification & executive development programmes including an MDP at the Wharton School of Management as part of a Business Leaders Programme for transitioning from Functional to General Management. Prior to joining the Tata Group, he has held various staff and line responsibilities in the areas of Human Resources, Manufacturing and Procurement across Murugappa Group, OTE Group, Landmark Group and Amararaja Group.

Mr. Nanda has been associated with the Ethics function as the Chief Ethics Counselor for over 14 years across both at Tata Chemicals and Tata Communications. He is also a Trustee on several of the company’s social sector initiatives like TCSRD, Okhai and Uday. Mr. Nanda is a professional member of NHRD, ISTD and NIPM and also represents the company and industry in several forums within CII, BCCI and EFI.


Nandakumar S, Founder & CEO, Perfint Healthcare

Nandakumar S is the Co - founder, Perfint Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Nandu started his career in GE Healthcare and held various responsibilities in Supply Chain, Operations, Six Sigma, Sales and Finance. Nandu was part of the team that helped build a strong Technology, Manufacturing and component sourcing base while also establishing a robust sales and service set-up for GE Healthcare in India. He was lastly the Vice President - Finance for GE Healthcare in India. Nandu is a Certified Master Black Belt in Six Sigma.

After GE, Nandu had a brief career outside healthcare as Director - Process Excellence at Cognizant Technology Solutions and COO at Ambit Corporate Finance before co-founding Perfint. Nandu has been awarded the Indira Innovation Award and Udyog Rattan Award by Institute of Economic studies and has been a regular speaker on Healthcare, Entrepreneurship and and Innovation at various forums. Nandu is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli.
