Naga is a versatile and passionate leader with around 2+ decades of global experience. As a full time angel investor, invested in 8 start-ups through Indian Angel Network (IAN) and leads IAN’ Impact Ventures initiative.
Being passionate with impact ventures, he advises Acumen Fund. Involved with Acumen’ other investments like, Husk Power Systems in Bihar. Naga is also a Venture Advisor at United Seed Fund that invests in early stage ventures serving BoP and part of Ennovent’ Impact Circle.
Served as the chairman of jury panel at Sankalp Regional summit 2012 focusing on 8 Low Income States (LIS) and in Sankalp Unconventional 2013.
Supports NeN for over 5 years now and advises on IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Canter) program that is initiated by DST where NeN is a facilitator. Helped e-cells in Sagar Institutions, Bangalore and Thiagarajar College of Engineering in Madurai.
Served as President of the Atlanta and San Diego Chapters for the Association for India’s Development (AID). AID received Times of India Social Impact award in 2011.
He holds a B.E. degree from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, India and an MBA degree from the San Diego/Kennesaw State University, United States.

Naganand Doraswamy, Managing Director & CEO, Ideaspring Capital
Naganand Doraswamy is an entrepreneur with extensive experience in management and technology. He is a successful entrepreneur and is well networked in the community. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry and has held several leadership roles. He has participated actively in many standard bodies and has been an invited speaker in various panels and conferences such as Network+Interop. He is the President of TiE Bangalore, on board of TiE Global trustees , NASSCOM 10,000 start-up warehouse in Bangalore an a member of FICCI start-up committee. He is on various committees of Government of Karnataka to further entrepreneurship.
Naganand founded Ideaspring capital to invest in very early stage product innovation companies. In addition to funding, the fund has a unique program “startup assist” that provides key interventions to increase focus on customer and product management.
At SPAN (www.spansystems.com), as a Co-Founder and EVP, Naganand is actively contributing to engineering in R&D and development as well as operations including HR, IT, and operations. In addition co-managing the engineering team, he is also focused on building a business unit in the area on data and wireless networking. He is also actively contributing to the strategy and growth of the company.
Prior to joining SPAN, Naganand was co-founder of Lexar Networks, MA, USA working on an idea in cellular and Wi-Fi convergence. Prior to that, he was the Director of Software at PhotonEx Corporation, MA, USA where he built carrier class software for long haul transmission systems. He was one of the very early hire into the company that raised over $160 million in funding.
Prior to PhotonEx, he was a Consulting Engineer at Nortel Networks. He was one of the architects and a technical lead for Nortel’s core router. Prior to that, he worked on next generation network architectures and protocol in Bay Networks Architecture Labs and made significant contributions to various products at Bay Networks. Prior to joining Bay Networks, as an architect and technical lead for TCP/IP stack and IP Security at FTP Software, Inc. he and developed the industry’s first client IP Security solution.
Naganand is a published author. He co-authored a book on IPSecurity titled “IPSec: The new security standard for the Internet, Intranets, and Virtual Private Networks,” published by Prentice Hall. As an active participant in IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) he was the chair of IP Compression Working group and chaired “Birds Of a Feather” forums (BOF’s) on VPNs. He has been awarded 8 patents and 2 patents are pending in the area of networking and security. He has 11 technical publications published in journals and conferences, has given numerous workshops at the Networld+Interop, and has been on various technical panels.
Naganand is co-founder and on the board of ScienceAdda (www.scienceadda.com) which focusses bringing curated and mobile experiential zones in various aspects of Science to schools. Naganand served on the boards of SPAN Infotech India, Aylus Networks India Pvt Ltd (www.aylus.com) and Basil India (www.basilcom.biz).
Naganand has a Masters in Computer Science from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. He got his Bachelors in Computer Science from U.V.C.E, Bangalore, India. Naganand is married with two kids. He loves playing tennis and occasional golfing. He enjoys reading fiction.

Nagaraj Mylandla is the founder and Managing Director of FSS.
A banker turned entrepreneur, he is known for his expertise and vision for the Indian payments industry. He has pioneered and spearheaded the marketing and support of retail and wholesale payment solutions in India. He is credited with the implementation of transaction processing and switching solutions for over 35 banks and financial institutions in India and over 30 clients worldwide.
Prior to founding FSS, he worked with the Indian banking industry and has a CAIIB to his credit. He also had a stint with FDC in the USA and ACI in Omaha, USA.
In anticipation of the phenomenal growth and transformation of the Indian payments industry, he founded FSS in 1991.
Today FSS, under Mr. Mylandla’s visionary leadership, is the leading global payment systems company, offering business value in the areas of electronic payment, financial transaction processing solutions and services. The company is the preferred technology partner and co-innovator for several leading banks in India and global financial giants. He established FSS-ASP network FSSNeT, to provide a pan-India shared ATM network. Today, FSSNeT is one of the largest independent shared payment service providers in the region.

Nagaraj V Mylandla is the founder and Managing Director of FSS - Financial Software & Systems, a global payments technology and transactions processing leader headquartered in Chennai, India.
Nagaraj is an MBA in International Marketing and Finance from University of Nebraska, Omaha. He has worked briefly for First Data Corporation and ACI, both electronic payment pioneers, based in Omaha.
In 1991 equipped with banking expertise that he gathered in India, education at UNO and a vision to bring payments technology to India, he created FSS-Financial Software & Systems, envisaging a phenomenal growth in the payments industry in India. The Indian subcontinent with a population of over 1 billion was a virgin market as far as electronic payments was concerned with virtually no ATMs or any other Retail delivery channels.
The opportunity to transact with a billion plus populace was the basis of the FSS story. Naina Lal Kidwai, Chairman- Max Financial Services, Former Chairman-HSBC India
Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai is Chairman, Max Financial Services and Senior Advisor, Advent Private Equity. She is also a Non-Executive Director on the board of Nestle SA and CIPLA Ltd and has been Past President of FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry). She retired as Executive Director on the board of HSBC Asia Pacific and Chairman HSBC India. She is also the Chairman of the Harvard Business School, South Asia Board. Previously, Ms. Kidwai has been Vice Chairman and Head Investment Banking at JM Morgan Stanley, managed the Western India operations and Investment Banking Operations of Standard Chartered Bank. An MBA from Harvard Business School, she has been recognized in India and abroad with several awards and listings for leadership and business. Ms. Kidwai has been repeatedly ranked in the Fortune global list of Top Women in Business, and listed in the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times Global Listing of Women to Watch and by Time Magazine as one of their 15 Global Influentials 2002. Ms. Naina Lal Kidwai has been a recipient of the Padma Shri from the Government of India for her contribution to Trade and Industry in 2007.

Nainesh Jaisingh, Md & Global Co-Head, Standard Chartered Private Equity Advisory
Nainesh Jaisingh, Managing Director, SCPE, is a Partner with Standard Chartered’s Asian Private Equity business, and has been with the business since 2000.
In 2001, he co-founded Fin Ventures, a global Venture Capital Fund sponsored by Standard Chartered Bank, headquartered at Singapore. In 2003, Nainesh was instrumental in the launch of the Merlion India Fund, a JV between SCPE and Temasek, Singapore.
With SCPE, Nainesh has made and managed successful investments in several sectors - Software/BPO, Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Shipbuilding, Auto Components, Power Generation, Travel, and Financial Services. He serves on the Board of Directors of several companies.
Nainesh is an Engineer with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Nalin Bansal, Chief of Corporate Business and Key Initiatives, NPCI
Nalin is a Product & Business Strategy Professional with a rich experience of 20+ years on global assignments covering Technology, Telecom & Payments domain.
He has spearheaded the launch of many initiatives in the telecom and payments business and incubated new age payment solutions with organizations like Airtel, MasterCard and NPCI. He has also been an advisor to multiple start-ups for their go-to-market strategy.
He started his career with Bharti Airtel in 2001 and was a part of the India’s telecom revolution. He had been responsible for spearheading some key projects for Airtel which included Strategic outsourcing, Telecom roll outs, Tower cost optimization and GIS based Market planning. Later as part of the principal team at Bharti group he evaluated and executed projects in new areas like DTH, Mobile wallets and International acquisitions. At MasterCard he led the product launch for and their Bill Payments platform in India.
Presently he is serving as Chief of Corporate Business and Key Initiatives at National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI). Under his leadership, NPCI was able to swiftly launch the prestigious Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) platform for Reserve Bank of India (RBI), National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) for Transit operators and Smart Cities and rolled out solutions in the area of Contactless Payments, Secure Online Commerce and Tokenization.
At NPCI, he has been contributed extensively in building the ecosystem of payments enabling Governments, Corporates, Merchants, MSMEs and driving consumption for consumers in all segments. In his current role he is tasked to set up partnerships to drive new use cases for Fintech, Startups & Merchants not just in payments but also in areas of loyalty, analytics and identification.
Nalin is a Communications engineer from University of Pune and holds a Master’s degree in Diploma (Strategy) in Business Management from FORE, Delhi.

Nalin Kumar, MD, Rabo India Finance Ltd.
Nalin Kumar is the Managing Director and Head of Merger & Acquisition and Equity Capital and Advisory in India. Nalin has over 17 years of experience encompassing M&A, Debt, Equity Capital Markets and Banking.
Nalin started his banking career with HSBC in 1993. Thereafter he moved into investment banking with J.P. Morgan Chase. He had worked in New York, Singapore and Hong Kong offices of J.P. Morgan Chase initially supporting the Project, Structured Finance and Restructuring Groups in Asia, and subsequently as a key member of the Asian M&A effort working on several landmark transactions across industry verticals in key Asian markets.
He joined DSP Merrill Lynch in their Indian operation in the year 2001. Here he led important M&A and Capital Market transactions across sectors. Prior to Rabo India he was with JM Morgan Stanley, where he was working since 2005. At JM, he lead the Financial Sponsors Group and worked across sectors.
Nalin is a MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and holds a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.
