Madhu Nori, Head of Operations, Bharti Softbank
Madhu brings a diverse and well rounded experience of over 18 years to BSB having worked with several top-tier global wireless Telecom companies. Madhu joined Airtel in 2008 where he was responsible for the creation of consumer and enterprise data services with a focus on device related innovations and mobile internet services.
Madhu previously worked at Sprint-Nextel and Verizon Wirelss where he led key initiatives in the networks division and consumer data products group respectively. Madhu now heads operations at BSB.

Madhu Raghunath, Sr. President & COO, Dealership Businesses, Group Head - Human Resources and Organization Capability, TVS Mobility Pvt Ltd.
Madhu Raghunath, is the Chief Operating Officer for the Dealership Businesses of TVS Mobility P Ltd, responsible for the P&L of the TVS dealerships of Ashok Leyland, Mahindra, Renault, Honda, Distribution of Auto Parts of Ashok Leyland and other OESL Parts Distribution spread across various states of India employing about 5000 people.
Madhu, also is the Group Head – HR & Organizational Capability for the TVS Mobility P Ltd including the automotive aftermarket companies of TVS Automobile Solutions P Ltd and ki Mobility Solutions P Ltd,
Madhu has the distinction of being a HR professional transitioning into a business role and is a qualified HR professional having done his Masters in Social Work specializing in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations. Madhu also holds a Diploma in Labour and Administrative Law.
He has successfully completed his Strategic Human Resource Management programme from Ross School of Business, University of Michigan and the Foundations of Business Strategy course from Darden Business School, University of Virginia.
He has worked for more than 12 ½ years now with the TVS Mobility group and prior to this has worked for over 14 years with Unilever, across all the geographies in India handling various leadership responsibilities. He started his career at Mafoi Management Consultants in Bangalore.
He is a certified Coach from the International Coach Federation and is a certified strengths based Life coach from VIA Life Institute, USA. He has interests in mentoring and developing young people. His other interests include writing and reading extensively on a variety of topics.
Madhu likes to spend his free time with his daughters, wife and his pet beagle Bubbles.

Madhukar Sinha is a Partner at India Quotient. An IIM Lucknow graduate, he loves networking and has a very strong inroads in entrepreneur circles. Before India Quotient, he was part of a microfinance & impact fund, Aavishkar as an Investment Manager. He viewed the microfinance revolution first hand.

Madhur Varma, CEO, Sahyadri hospitals Ltd | @shlpune
Madhur Verma is the CEO of Sahyadri Hospitals Ltd, Maharashtra’s largest chain of multi specialty hospitals with 11 hospitals of 1,300 beds each. Their hospitals are located at Nashik, Navi Mumbai, Pune and Karad.
Prior to this, Madhur was the VP-Operations with Columbia Asia for over six years. Besides Columbia Asia, Madhur has also worked with IVEN Medicare (ICICI Venture) as AVP, with Max as Head-Business Support as well as Escorts and Medwin.

Ms. Madhurima Mukherjee, Partner, heads the capital markets and securities law practice of Luthra & Luthra Law Offices.

Madhusudan Rajagopalan, Sector Head - Financial Services, Tata Capital Growth Fund
Madhu leads transactions in the financial services and manufacturing sector at Tata Capital Growth Fund. Since joining Tata Capital in 2008, he has led and closed several transactions in the financial services and the manufacturing sector with a total deployment of over USD 100mn. Prior to joining Tata Capital Growth Fund, he was with Aureos - an SME focused private equity fund and was part of the investment banking practice at Ernst and Young prior to Auroes. Madhu holds a Ph.D from IIM Bangalore and is a Chartered Accountant and holds a CFA as well.

Madhusudhan Menon, Executive Chairman & Co-founder, Micro Housing Finance Corporation Ltd
Madhusudhan Menon, Executive Chairman of MHFC, 61, has over 30 years of banking (and now housing finance) experience. After completing his CA, he initially was with the Reserve Bank of India where he worked for 2 years. He then worked with American Express Bank for over 20 years - across most areas and departments - with his last role being the India Head - Commercial Banking and Capital Markets. He left the Bank in 2002 and spent a few years as an advisor to various Indian business groups as a capital markets and investment specialist, before co-founding MHFC in 2008 to help support lower income financially excluded families own a home and in general, support the eco-system of new housing and financial inclusion.

Mahendra Swarup, Founder, Venture Gurukool & Ankurit Capital
Mr. Mahendra Swarup is a highly accomplished industry leader with 35 years of professional experience, including more than 20 years in Private Equity and Venture Capital. As the Founder and Managing Partner of Ankurit Capital, he has positioned it as one of India’s premier early-stage investment Venture Capital Fund . His vision centers on the belief that the next generation of entrepreneurs will drive significant GDP growth and create wealth leveraging the Digital Public infrastructure in emerging economies specially in South Asia , Middle East and Africa.
Mr. Swarup’s deep industry involvement extends beyond Ankurit Capital. He is a key figure on various government committees and serves on the boards of several ventures. He was the Founding President of the Indian Venture Capital Association (IVCA), a role he held for over a decade, and co-founded the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), where he served as Vice President.
His distinguished career also includes serving as Senior Investment Advisor to Siguler Guff, a global private equity fund managing over $10 billion in assets, where he provided strategic guidance on portfolio exits. Mr. Swarup has also managed a growth and buyout SME fund in India, overseeing $365 million across three funds.
He has been at the forefront of pioneering efforts in the digital media and e-commerce space, founding Smile Interactive Technologies. Under his leadership, Smile became one of the first incubators for early-stage ventures in India, facilitating successful exits to companies like WPP, Yahoo, and Dentsu, and attracting investments from leading firms such as Sequoia Capital and DST Global.
Mr. Swarup has sperheaded over 150 investments across various sectors, including pharma, manufacturing, media, and consumer-facing businesses, backed by his comprehensive understanding of the Global regulatory and financial landscape. His work has consistently centered around fostering growth and expansion for businesses, aligning with his core belief in entrepreneurship as a driving force for economic growth.

Mahesh Chhabria, Partner, Actis
Mahesh has a firm belief in the emerging market growth story and corporate India’s push to go global. He decided to to act on this belief by joining Actis which is recognised as a long-standing investor in India with an emerging market sector-based approach to investing both in minority and control deals.
Mahesh previously worked at 3i India, where he was a partner in the firm’s Growth Capital Group and the lead partner globally for the Healthcare sector, heading up and contributing to 3i investments in India and international markets. Before making the move to private equity in 2006, Mahesh was co-head of investment banking at Enam, one of the leading domestic investment banks in India. Mahesh holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Since joining Actis in 2010, Mahesh has plunged himself into the business: forging new contacts, and calling upon his existing network to help build value in Actis’s India-based portfolio.
