Dr. Mukesh Thakur, Director Internal Medicine, Acute Medicine & Clinical Transformation, Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital

Dr. Mukesh Thakur is an internationally acclaimed physician, educator, and healthcare leader whose work has transformed clinical medicine, patient outcomes, and healthcare delivery across the UK, ME & USA.

Dr. Thakur has completed his M.B.B.S. from the Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of hospitals, Mumbai, India. He completed his postgraduate medical education and training form the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, MRCP (UK). He pursued the Super Specialist Training in the UK, by the Joint Royal College of Physicians Training Board, JRCPTB UK, where he obtained a dual CCST (UK) in General Internal Medicine and Acute Internal Medicine —becoming one of the first physicians in the UK to complete comprehensive Super Specialist Training Program across ten subspecialties, including Cardiology, Neurology, Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Critical Care, Geriatrics, Stroke and Infectious Diseases. 

Dr. Thakur was appointed one of the youngest Directors of the Training Program at the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery, UK, where he trained hundreds of specialists in Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Infectious Diseases, etc., to complete their Super Specialist Programs. For his phenomenal contributions in the field of clinical medicine in the UK, Dr. Thakur was awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK, becoming one of the youngest Fellow from India to sign on the Roll of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK. Recognized as an expert in Medicine, he was called upon by the Health Education England & JRCPTB UK to write the curriculum for use of simulation in Clinical Medicine.

Dr. Thakur was invited to Qatar to establish the region’s first Acute Internal Medicine Department at a 960-bed university hospital serving over two million patients. Under his leadership, the hospital was ranked among the Top 100 Worldwide (2023) and became the first international pilot site for the IHI Value Improvement Program. He also led national initiatives in clinical transformation, pandemic preparedness, and quality improvement, contributing to one of the world’s lowest COVID-19 fatality rates.

He has also served as the assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Weill Cornell Medical College (USA), a mentor for postgraduate Master’s program at John Hopkins University (USA). He is an Improvement Advisor at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), (USA) and an alumnus of the Harvard University (USA).


Dr. N Krishna Reddy, CEO, Quality Care India Ltd.

Dr. N.Krishna Reddy, has graduated from Osmania Medical College in 1984 with honors. He completed his MD in Internal Medicine from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh in 1987. He did his fellowship in Cardiology leading to DM from GB Pant Hospital, Delhi University, New Delhi.

He worked at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad, and Mediciti Hospitals, Hyderabad, prior to establishing Care Hospitals. He has pioneered advanced imaging techniques and electrophysiology procedures in the state of Andhra Pradesh. His contribution to landmark original research includes studies on Percutaneous Valvotomy for Rheumatic Mitral Stenosis, Prosthetic Valve Thrombosis, Role of Sildenafil in Primary Pulmonary Hypertension etc.

He conducted epidemiological studies on cardiovascular risk factors. He has been acting as Principal Investigator and National Lead Investigator for various multinational drug and device trials. He established a dedicated department of Clinical Research at Care Hospitals. He was the key member of the team that developed and tested India's first indigenous coronary stent, popularly known as Kalam-Raju Stent.

He co-founded the Care Hospitals in 1997, which has grown rapidly from 100-bed strength, single hospital, single specialty entity to more than 1500-bed strength, 12-hospitals, 6-states, and multispecialty within a short span of 10 years. He is currently Managing Director, Andhra Cardiology Associates (ACA), which has the largest team of 50 Cardiologists managing Cardiology services in various Care Hospitals; Director & CEO at Care Hospitals since 2006; Member, Board of Directors, Care Foundation. He co-founded Relisys Medical Devices and is currently its Chairman. Relisys Medical Devices has created a cost-effective  end-to-end technology platform for both Stents and Polymer-based Catheters.

Dr. N. Rajendran, CTO, NPCI

Dr. N. Rajendran is responsible for the entire Technology Infrastructure - including operations, projects, infrastructure architecture, data centre management, IT security and implementing key strategic initiatives. Spearheading the technology solutions, Dr Rajendran has been responsible for perfecting NPCI's system, processes and controls that essentially require quality standardization to support the goal of the company that is - 'Touching every Indian by 2020.'

After receiving National Financial Switch (NFS) from IDRBT in 2009, Dr Rajendran played responsible role in carrying out the overall functioning and developed it with utmost care. He efficiently led the transformation from INFINET application to NPCINet, which has now robust architecture and supports over 100 member banks with more than one lakh ATMs and about 100 lakh transactions per day, collectively. He is credited as one of the key founders of National Financial Switch and played a crucial role in architecting and establishing NPCI's biggest Payment network - NPCINet. Under his leadership, NPCI has been able to achieve some of the technology benchmarks including - PCI DSS certification project, data centre establishment & data centre migration, new network of NPCI NET for NFS, CTS, RuPay, ACH, APBS, IMPS and AEPS.

With having over 22 years of technology experience, mostly into payment system, Dr Rajendran has managed key portfolios mainly into - designing, implementing and operations at some of the biggest financial networks in the country - Indian Financial Network(INFINET), NFS and NPCINET, which include ATMs, POS, Payment Gateway, Payment Switch, Network Security, Network & System Administration, Infrastructure Development, Information Security Management, and consulting experience with large banks.

He has earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University, Trichy, after completing MCA and B.Sc in Applied Physics. He has been a member of the working group on 'Network and Security Standard for e-governance', and worked as a co-investigator for the R&D project - 'Protocol and Security Frameworks for Mobile Payments', under Ministry of Information Technology.

Dr. Nishanth Dongari Founder & Managing Director, Pure EV Dr. Nishanth Dongari has been at the helm of Pure EV as its founder and managing director since 2018. With a focus on strategic planning, fostering collaborations, and joint ventures, he has proven to be an invaluable asset to the company. His visionary approach has led to the expansion of the company's product portfolio, diversifying its offerings beyond electric scooters to meet the evolving needs of the electric vehicle ecosystem.

Under his strong leadership, PURE EV has become a key player in the electric mobility sector, promoting sustainable transportation solutions while significantly reducing carbon emissions through innovative electric scooters and motorcycles. His strategic partnerships and collaborations have fostered valuable relationships, enabling the company to tap into new markets like Nepal and Bhutan, attaining a commanding dominant position.

In addition to his role at PURE EV, Dr. Dongari is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, where he contributes to research on advanced energy systems for DRDO. He has previously made significant contributions to the design of complicated mobility systems and high-altitude missiles for India's ambitious Mission Gaganyan, as well as thrusters and thermal analysis for missile operations under Project Shakti. Dr. Dongari was instrumental in the Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) program, in terms of system integration, algorithm development, and the thermal management of missile components.

He is a B Tech in Mech Engineering from IIT Bombay and holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, (UK) - Marie Curie Fellow. His academic background includes a strong focus on aerospace engineering, rarefied gas dynamics, and renewable energy technologies.

Dr. Dongari's vision aligns with the global shift towards eco-friendly technologies, making him a notable figure in advancing electric vehicle adoption in India.


Dr. O.P. Manchanda, Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Lal PathLabs Pvt. Ltd

Dr. O.P. Manchanda is the Chief Executive Officer of Dr. Lal PathLabs Pvt. Ltd, India's state-of-the-art laboratory service provider chain. He has about 20 years of sales, marketing & general management exposure in diverse business sectors like Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), agri-biotech space, consumer healthcare and medical diagnostics.  

Before joining Dr. Lal PathLabs Pvt. Ltd in the year 2005, Dr. Manchanda led the International & Innovation group of the Consumer Healthcare Division at Ranbaxy, India's largest pharmaceutical company. He was part of the team that launched Ranbaxy's foray into consumer healthcare.

Prior to joining Ranbaxy, Dr. Manchanda worked for Monsanto and Hindustan Unilever. At Monsanto, he was part of the team that successfully launched their first ever biotech product Bt-Cotton as the head of Sales and Marketing.

During his tenure with Hindustan Unilever for about 10 years, he received in-depth exposure in consumer products sales, distribution and marketing. He has also received in-depth exposure in Innovation Process Management as he was the first brand manager with Beverages Innovation Group. He successfully led the concept cum product development, and the market launch of Lipton Tiger A Tea Based Beverage, the first ever innovation product from the Beverages Innovations Group in the year 1998. At Unilever, he received several awards including the Chairman's Global Best Innovation Award for Lipton Tiger.

Dr. O.P. Manchanda has done MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad).


Dr. Pinky Anand, Additional Solicitor General of India, Supreme Court of India

Dr. Pinky Anand, a trustee of The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust is a designated Senior Advocate and is the incumbent Additional Solicitor General of India. A Doctorate of Law, graduate of the Harvard Law School and an Inlaks scholar, Honorary Professor at Amity Law School, she is the second woman in India to have been awarded this high Constitutional Law office. A versatile multifaceted person, social activist, a leading lawyer in diverse fields, Dr. Anand’s accomplishments extend from legal expertise to media to politics to social activities. She has worked tirelessly for the cause of social development and has achieved numerous milestones in her endeavour be it for the development of the country, right of free speech, eradication of malpractices or the protection of children. The causes espoused by her have led us towards milestone changes in the legal fabric. Dr. Pinky Anand has been honoured with several awards for excellence in law and has led India in several international forums the BRICS Legal Forum.
