Dr. Aarti Gupta is a seasoned investment strategist who has been at the helm of her family office (DM Gupta Family, Jagran Group) for the past 13 years. She is also the Chief Investment Officer at Anikarth Ventures, an angel-investing firm that invests in innovative early-stage start-ups with transformative solutions.
In her commitment to women's entrepreneurship, Dr. Gupta serves as the National Head for FICCI FLO Start-ups, focusing on women founders and investors. She is also an independent director with Jindal Stainless Steels and contributes to the boards of several family-owned businesses and start-ups, leveraging her expertise in investment strategy. Furthermore, as the founder of the Anikarth Foundation, she champions initiatives for women's financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and job readiness.
A recognized TEDx speaker, Dr. Gupta addresses financial literacy, entrepreneurship, investment strategies, and women's empowerment. She gained recognition as an investor on India's first reality start-up funding TV show, "Horses Stable", where she sought companies with innovative solutions to significant problems. Recognized for her contributions, Inc42 listed her among the 30 Top Women Torchbearers in the country, and Priwexus honored her as the ‘Woman in Family Office Thought Leader 2023’. She chairs the Start-up Committee of the Merchant Chamber of UP and serves on the board of Harvard Alumni for Global Women's Empowerment.
Dr. Gupta's academic credentials include a PhD in Economics from IIT Kanpur, a post-graduate diploma in business studies from Harvard University, and a Master's degree in Economics from Northeastern University.

Dr. Abhinanda Sarkar, Academic Director, Data Science & Machine Learning, Great Learning
Abhinanda Sarkar is one of the top 10 most prominent analytics and data science academicians. Dr. Sarkar received his B.Stat. and M.Stat. degrees from the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) and a Ph.D. in Statistics from Stanford University. He has taught applied mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); been on the research staff at IBM; led quality, engineering development, and analytics functions at General Electric (GE); served as associate dean at the MYRA School of Business; and co-founded OmiX Labs.
Abhinanda is a certified Master Black Belt in Lean Sigma and Design for Six Sigma and a Level 3 TRIZ Expert, and has been visiting faculty at Stanford, ISI, and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM). He is the recipient of the ISI Alumni Association Medal for the highest grades in his graduating class and of the Radhakrishan Mentor Award from GE India for his leadership of the Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP).
Abhinanda has also provided professional committee service for the University Grants Commission (UGC) of the Government of India and for infoDev, a World Bank program. Currently, he is serving as Chief Science Officer for Brand Sigma – a technology start-up focused on the interface of marketing science and data science – and adjunct faculty at the Indian Institute of Science.

Dr Ajay Aggarwal is a consultant Radiologist with Diwanchand Medical Services for the last 17 years which runs a chain of radiology clinics in the national capital region (NCR). An alumnus of Modern School, Delhi, he did his MBBS from Delhi University and post graduation from PGIMER, Chandigarh in Radio-diagnosis. He is the third generation of Radiologists in the family and currently in-charge of business development of the group.
He has served as the executive Director Devki Devi Hospitals Pvt Ltd. (1996-2000), to set up a 300 bedded hospital in South Delhi. He was involved in the restructuring of the company and responsible for induction of Max Healthcare as a strategic partner.
He was executive Director of Diwan Chand Metropolis Pvt Ltd and Pathnet India Ltd. (2002-2005), a joint venture with Metropolis Healthcare pvt ltd to provide pathology services in North India.
As Director Diwan Chand Medical Services Pvt Ltd (till 2012) he undertook various initiatives including identification of new opportunities for setting up radiology facilities in Hospitals as well as free standing radiology centres for the company and was involved in the investment into the company by US based Angel fund Medserve Ventures and private equity fund - Asian Healthcare Ventures in 2010.
He also serves as a partner in Heathcare Diwan Chand Imaging LLP, a joint venture with Healthcare Global Pvt Ltd (HCG), Bangalore to establish PETCT imaging centre in Delhi.
Dr. Ajay Bakshi, Managing Director & CEO, Manipal Hospitals
Dr. Ajay Bakshi is the Managing Director & CEO of Manipal Health Enterprises (Manipal Hospitals), the corporate healthcare and hospitals entity of the Manipal Education & Medical Group. Manipal Hospitals’ healthcare network comprises of primary, secondary and tertiary facilities. It has 16 hospitals covering 5,000 beds in India and overseas.
Dr. Bakshi has played multiple roles - as a neurosurgeon, a stem cell scientist, a strategy consultant and as Managing Director & CEO of a hospital network in North India over the last 2 decades. He is a MBBS and M.Ch. (Neurosurgery) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. After finishing his Chief Residency, he has worked as a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Vidya Sagar Institute of Mental Health & Neurosciences (VIMHANS), New Delhi. During this period he started a successful endoscopic neurosurgery practice, in addition to performing more than 600 major brain and spinal surgeries for complex neurosurgical conditions.
In 2002, he transitioned to a research role at Dept. of Neurobiology, Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, where he built a research program around minimally invasive stem cell transplantation for spinal cord injuries. Based on an R21 research grant that he received from National Institute of Health, Dr. Bakshi developed and demonstrated the safety and efficacy of Autologous Stem Cell transplantation via lumbar puncture technique in animal models - a procedure that is becoming main stream for Human Stem Cell transplantation now. At the same time, he also completed the 2 year Wharton Management Program from The Wharton School.
In 2005, Dr. Bakshi joined McKinsey and Company, New Jersey and served large US corporations in Medical devices, Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals and Health Insurance sectors around questions related to their Strategy, Organizations and Operations. In 2008, he moved to their Dubai Office and got an opportunity to serve Prime Ministers and Health Ministers of the Middle East and African countries on questions related to the design and effectiveness of their countries' Health Systems.
In 2011 - Dr. Bakshi joined Max Healthcare as their CEO and within 9 months was elevated to the Managing Director role. During his tenure at Max, he led a succesful launch of 4 new hospitals as well as a comprehensive turn-around of the overall network.

Before MeraDoctor worked with Acumen Fund in New York and Nairobi with a focus on Health, Energy and Capital Markets. He is a trained physician who graduated with an MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai and an MPH from Harvard University.
