Dinesh Pillaipakkamnatt is currently Global Head, Central Analytics Function at Novartis, Hyderabad. He leads a team that provides decision making insights, which may lead to more efficient clinical trial conduct, to the Novartis Pharma Development Clinical Program/Trial Teams. Trial and Site Risk Management solutions are amongst the current focus. Prior to this he was Global Head, Database Programming, IIS, Novartis.

Dinesh Vaswani is the founder and Managing Director of Acuitas Capital Advisors, a multi-family investment office focused on advising families on their investment portfolios in India.
He has over twenty-five years’ experience both investing in and operating companies in India and the U.S. He was a Managing Director at Temasek Holdings, where he led investments in both private as well as public companies across a range of industries including infrastructure, real estate, hospitality and business process outsourcing. He also
established Bessemer Venture Partners’ operations in India and led the firm’s first four investments inthe country.
Dinesh’s operating experience includes as a start-up entrepreneur in Silicon Valley, as the CEO of Blue Star Infotech’s US operations, as the founding head of IT at Blue Star and as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
He has served on a number of boards of public and private companies, both promoter driven as well as professionally managed. Companies includeFirstsource (listed BPO company), Mindtree (IT services, subsequently listed), Venture Infotech (credit card processing) and Borosil (listed glassware manufacturer).
He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BBA cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a former Chair of the Bombay Chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).
Dipak Gupta, Joint Managing Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank
Dipak Gupta is a whole-time director on the board of Kotak Mahindra Bank and is designated Joint Managing Director. He is also a part of the Group Management Council that drives Kotak Mahindra Group’s growth charter.
Dipak helms numerous functions including Compliance, Vigilance, Internal Audit, Human Resources, IT including Cyber Security, Digital Initiatives, Customer Experience, Marketing & Communications, Environment Social Governance (ESG) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Dipak has played a key role in building various businesses for Kotak Mahindra Group. He was instrumental in forging the partnership between Kotak Mahindra Finance Ltd (KMFL) and Ford Credit International. He was the first CEO of the KMFL–Ford Credit joint venture, Kotak Mahindra Primus Limited.
Dipak was appointed as Executive Director of Kotak Mahindra Finance Limited (which got the banking license in April 2003 to become Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited) in 1999. Dipak was also responsible for setting up the retail business following the conversion of KMFL into a bank.
Prior to joining Kotak in 1992, Dipak worked with the consultancy division of A.F. Ferguson.
Dipak is a graduate in Electronics Engineering from IIT, Varanasi and a post-graduate in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA).

Mr Dipu forefronts the digital transformation drive at Bajaj Allianz GIC, leveraging start-ups from fintech/insure tech globally, while leading a team of ~1600 people in 170 locations. A management graduate from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow), he joined Bajaj Allianz GIC in 2016 after a stellar career of nearly 20 years with GE Capital.
During Mr Dipu’s distinguished career spanning over 24 years, his forte has been combining digital transformation with deep domain expertise & six sigma rigor to redesign the business model for operational excellence and customer delight.
