Chetan Maini, Founder, Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles Pvt Ltd

Motivated by a desire to combat climate change, Chetan co-founded the REVA Electric Car Company, India's first electric car manufacturer, in 1994.

With a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (University of Michigan) where he focused on solar electric vehicles, and a Master's in Mechanical Engineering (Stanford University) where he worked on hybrid electric vehicles, Chetan has over 20 years of experience in the development of solar, hybrid and electric vehicles in the U.S. and India. Prior to REVA, he worked for Amerigon Inc. (USA) and General Motors (USA). As a program manager at Amerigon, he was responsible for all electric vehicle programs and initiated the REVA project.

In 2009, Chetan was named by Business Week magazine as one of the top 50 most influential people in India, and at the 2010 AIMA Managing India Awards, he was named "Entrepreneur of the Year." He has also been amongst the select few to have been adjudged as a Young Global Leader (YGLs) for 2011 by The World Economic Forum, and in 2011, he received the India Business Icon Award from Entrepreneur CNBC TV18. At The Economist's annual event in London, in October 2011, the publication conferred Chetan Maini its 2011 'Innovation Award in Energy and the Environment' for his work on affordable electric vehicles.

Chetan also serves as a member of India's National Board on Electric Mobility (NBEM) formed by the Government of India's Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. He is also the Chairman of the Personal Transporation Council, World Economic Forum. He currently holds patents in energy management systems for electric vehicles and has presented technical and keynote papers on electric vehicles globally. His papers have been published in several international journals.


Chetan Shah, Business Head - Online, Ecommerce & Mobile Advertising, Aircel Limited

Chetan Shah is currently leading the Online, E-Commerce and Mobile Advertising verticals at Aircel as a Business Head. Previously he was the National Head for VAS function in the company and was responsible for meeting revenue targets, leading national VAS portfolio and launching new and innovative VAS products and services to drive growth.

Chetan is an established industry veteran with over 18 years of extensive work experience in P&L Management, Product Management, Business Development, Brand Management, Sales and in heading Strategic Business Units. He joined Aircel in 2009 to lead New Product Development.

Prior to joining Aircel, he served as Vice President - Business Development & Alliances (South East Asia) for Tanla Mobile Asia Pacific Pte. Chetan also had successful stints with IMImobile as Vice President and Arab Media Group as Chief Operating Officer. He has also worked with a number of reputed organizations like Bharti Airtel, Standard Chartered Bank etc.

A graduate in Electronics and Communications from Nagarjuna University, Chetan also holds a post graduate degree in Marketing from the prestigious Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad.

Chhitiz Kumar, CEO, Philips Capital

Chhitiz Kumar has experience cutting across Healthcare industry and Financial Services. Over the last 2 decades, he has worked with Johnson & Johnson and GE Capital.

Currently as head of Philips Capital for South Asia and Middle-East & Turkey, he is responsible for debt financing and equity investments for Philips. He also leads Healthcare consulting business and Public-Private Partnership business of Philips in South Asia.

His vast experience across financial services and healthcare industry, cutting across functions, helps him bring a holistic and balanced view. He is passionate about healthcare industry and has been working with various healthcare models across geographies to achieve the goal of “Affordable, Accessible, Quality Healthcare for All”.

Chhitiz is MBA graduate from IIM, Kolkata and an alumni of INSEAD, France. He is also Institute of Director (IOD) certified “Independent Director” and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Chhitiz Kumar has experience cutting across several industries and financial services. Over the last 2 decades, he has worked with Johnson & Johnson, GE Capital and Philips.

Currently as head of Philips Capital India, he is responsible for debt financing and equity investments for all the 3 businesses (Consumer Lifestyle, Lighting and Healthcare) of Philips in Indian Subcontinent. He also leads the Govt. Affairs and PPP function for Philips in Indian subcontinent.

In his previous role at GE Capital, Chhitiz played several roles of increasing responsibility and structured financing solutions across an array of sectors for Indian corporates & MNCs.

With his vast experience across industries and across functions, he brings in a holistic and balanced view to a business.

Chhitiz is an alumnus of IIM, Kolkata and B.Tech (Mining) from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is a certified “Independent Director” and also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. He is also on Advisory Board of SRM University, Chennai.

Chinta Bhagat, Executive Director, Khazanah Nasional Berhad

Chinta Bhagat is the country head of India and co-head of global healthcare for Khazanah Nasional, the sovereign investment holding company of the government of Malaysia. In his India role, he oversees investments across public and private markets, and across sectors like healthcare, technology, consumer products, and financial services. In his healthcare role, he oversees Khazanah’s holdings in IHH, the world’s second largest health services company by market capitalisation. Chinta is a board member at IDFC, Parkway Pantai Healthcare, and other portfolio companies. Prior to joining Khazanah, Chinta spent 14 years at McKinsey & Company in Singapore, including six years as Managing Partner for the Singapore office. Chinta was a leader in the Principal Investor practice, serving several sovereign investment firms, private equity firms, and family owned businesses; as well as a leader in the Healthcare practice, serving hospital systems across Asia. Chinta also founded and led McKinsey’s corporate governance service line. Prior to joining McKinsey, Chinta held various positions at an engineering and construction firm in India, culminating in his role as CEO. Chinta has an MBA from INSEAD Business School and is a qualified architect.

"Chintan Bhuva is an MBA graduate with a background in Information Technology. He has over 10 years of experience in Cyber Security, IT Governance, Risk, Compliance and IT Auditing. He has worked as a consultant with Deloitte and Cognizant and is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer, South Asia region for Swiss Re. His responsibilities include securing infrastructure and ensuring regulatory compliance for Swiss Re's offices in India."
