B Ramesh Babu, MD, Medwin Hospital
Dr Ramesh Babu MD FACC is Chief of Cardiology, Medwin Hospital. Dr. Ramesh Babu founded Medwin Hospital almost 20 years ago when corporate healthcare is almost nonexistent in the country.
Dr Ramesh Babu brings in 22 years of expertise in clinical medicine, entrepreneurship, administration and clinical research. He did his post graduation in Internal Medicine, postdoctoral fellowship in Cardiology from Post Graduate Institute, Chandigarh, and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship from University of Alabama, Birmingham, Alabama, USA.
He had an excellent academic career and he was the Best Outgoing Student from the University. He is a life member of Association of Physician's of India, Cardiological Society of India and Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Besides being an active and leading practicing Cardiologist, he is one of the leading Principal Investigators for global clinical trials in Cardiology in the country. He is also the President of TiE Hyderabad Chapter and Founding chairperson of the Hyderabad 10 K Run Foundation.
With a view of ploughing back to the society, he has started major initiatives like Prevent India, Prevent NCD Foundation and the Health promotion Awareness Project India for the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and other Noncommuciable diseases.
B Santhanam, CEO - Asia Pacific and India Region & Chairman, Saint-Gobain India
Santhanam obtained his B.Tech from IIT Madras (1978) and PostGraduation in Management from IIM Ahmedabad (1980). Over the last two decades, as Founder Managing Director of SaintGobain Glass India, Santhanam was instrumental in the Group’s investment of over INR 5,000 Crores in Flat Glass to create a Pan India manufacturing footprint across Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. The Company has achieved Quality, Operational, Innovation and Market leadership position in India and has won numerous Regional and National Awards in Innovation, Brand Building, EHS, Water Management, HR Excellence, CSR, etc. Elected Member of Executive Committee at Saint-Gobain Globally- Present Elected Member of the National Council of CII – from 2006 to 2019. Chairman of the CII Southern Region in 2013-14. At CII National Council and CII Southern Regional Council he has been Chairman of several Committees, Sub-committees and Task Forces on HR, Skills, Manufacturing and Digital Excellence. B Vamshi Reddy, CEO & Co-Founder, Apalya Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Vamshi leads Apalya's efforts in Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Over the years, Vamshi has garnered a lot of respect in the Mobile TV space in India helping make Apalya synonymous to Mobile TV in India. Prior to starting Apalya, Vamshi worked at Cisco Systems in Information Technology management in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior stints include AT&T, USA and Ernst and Young, USA.
B. Akbaraly, Dy. General Manager - Transaction Banking, Central Bank of India
After completion of his graduation from Mumbai University, Mr. B. Akbaraly joined the Bank in 1979. He is Bachelor of Arts (Economics) and holding degree in Law. He is also certified Associates of Indian Institute of Bankers. During his tenure of 35 years of service in bank he held various senior positions as under:

2. Faculty Member at Zonal Training Centre, Chennai.
3. Headed International Business Branch, Chennai.

Babu has about 2 decades of HR professional experience and specializes in start-up industry, organisation design and leadership coaching. Babu works very closely with start-up founders at senior management levels and has been part of amazing growth history of India's poster boy in e-commerce, Flipkart. Babu currently heads HR for Shopclues, start-up of the year 2016.
He has worked with high profile start-ups, managed digital transformation for organisations, worked on intra and inter company M&A, effectively leveraged technology on all facets of human resources and has extensive experience in talent management. Babu is and Electronics Engineer and alumni of XLRI. Babu is a design thinker and did his design thinking program through Stanford University in 2015.

He started his career with Arthur Andersen in India and went on to work with leading organizations like Deutsche Bank Telecoms Investment Banking in London, T-Mobile with their Strategy team and Deloitte Media Strategy consulting in London.
Badri has been voted amongst the Top 100 CFOs in India by a peer group of CFOs for 3 years - 2012, 2013and 2015 for strategic contribution to business. Under Badri’s leadership, Mauj has won Red Herring European Innovation Award for 2012 for innovative products; mBillionth award for innovative products for developing countries.

Bala Deshpande, Senior MD, NEA
Bala joined New Enterprise Associates India Pvt. Ltd. (NEA India) in 2008 as Senior Managing Director based out of its Mumbai office. Since that time NEA India’s assets under management have grown from ~$100mn to over ~$350mn. Under Bala’s leadership NEA has invested in several companies like Air Works, FSS, InTarvo, Intellisys, Naaptol, Nova, Trishe and Vishwa. Her private equity experience has seen the full cycle from nurturing young companies to executing multiple exits including IPO’s, buy-backs, strategic sales, and capital market divestments. She is also an Independent Director Board Member of Future Retail and Info Edge who are listed on National Stock Exchange and Leaders in their sectors.
Prior to joining NEA, Bala was with ICICI Venture (a leading Indian venture capital private equity investor), where she used her operational experience to identify opportunities for investment and played a strategic role in shaping the future of the investee companies. Whilst at ICICI Venture, she was a Director on the boards of several companies including Aaj Tak, Shoppers Stop, Nagarjuna Construction, Air Deccan, TechProcess Solutions etc. Prior to ICICI Venture, Bala worked across functions like sales, distribution and brand management with leading multinational companies such as Bestfoods, Cadburys, and ICI.
Bala is passionate about social development and inclusion. To this end, she is on the Advisor Board of few transformational enterprises like TRRAIN and iVolunteer.
