Avinash has over 15 years of experience in various media. He has worked as the Cluster Programming Head for South India for Radio Mirchi and as the VP and COO of RAVE Magazine (India’s first music & arts magazine).His earlier stints in the internet includes being the founding Editor in Chief and Head of In.com - Network18 before joining TIL in 2008 as the Business Head for Indiatimes. One of his passions is Indic Language Computing where he worked closely with Microsoft on their Indic language project called BhashaIndia.

Avinash Naik is President and Chief Information Officer at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance. A seasoned and passionate digital executive, he is responsible for driving technology strategy and execution, strengthening digital capabilities and bringing technology driven innovations to the organisation.

Avinash comes with rich experience in running large Technology operations, Digital Transformation, and Innovation programs across multiple geographies. He spent over a decade at Infosys Limited, where he played multiple leadership roles across Delivery Management, Consulting, Program Management, Enterprise Architecture etc. for Fortune 100 companies. Before joining Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, Avinash was part of the Group Corporate Strategy team at Bajaj Finserv where he was responsible for driving the Digital and Innovation agenda across Group companies.

Avinash holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from VJTI, Mumbai.

Besides work, Avinash loves travelling, reading, and playing tennis and basketball with his 11-year-old son.

15 years into Indian healthcare industry Worked with GE Healthcare, GE Capital – Healthcare Financial Services, for 10 years – was into healthcare technology, funding to healthcare set-ups.

Subsequently moved  as CEO of a multi-specialty hospital before joining RG Urology and Laparoscopy Hospitals, ( a pan India chain of 15 urology and laparoscopy hospitals) as President & COO.

Avneet S. Kochar, Former Director - Alternative Investments, AT&T Investment Management Corp.

Avneet Kochar is the former director of AT&T Investment Management Corporation (ATTIMCo -a small team managing AT&T's pension fund) covering public equities, risk budgeting, private equity and real estate. As the director of alternative assets, he started separate accounts for co-investments and secondaries and was also responsible for the pension fund's foray into Emerging Asia.

Avnish is a Co-founder at CaratLane and head of the online business. He is responsible for digital marketing, product management, customer service and online sales.

He also worked at Times Internet Limited where he started Code Gladiators in 2014.  This coding contest has been recognized as the biggest coing event in the world by the Guiness Book of world records.

He studied at Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and IIM Lucknow.

Avnish Bajaj is the Founder and Managing Partner of Matrix Partners India which is an investment firm with close to USD 1 billion under management. Matrix India invests across early and early growth stages of businesses in Technology–related sectors.

Avnish’s select current investments for Matrix India include Limeroad (mobile social marketplace), Ola (mobility business),
Practo (healthcare app), Quikr (online local classifieds), Cloudnine (maternity hospitals) and Meditrina (cardiac care hospitals). His select past investments with exits include Ace2three (online rummy), Centre for Sight (eye care hospitals) and ItzCash (acquired by NASDAQ: EBIX). He is also a founder investor in Cleartrip (online travel aggregator) amongst other investments as an angel investor.

Previously Avnish was the co–founder, Chairman and CEO of India’s Largest Online Marketplace at the time – Baazee.com – which was acquired by eBay and he ran eBay India thereafter. Prior to Baazee, he was an Investment Banker in the Technology group at Goldman Sachs in New York and San Francisco. He was also a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. and started his career with Apple Computer in the Bay Area.

He is a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School, WARF Fellow from University of Wisconsin–Madison and a Computer Science graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology,Kanpur.

He has received a number of awards and citations including the ‘Midas Touch’ best investor award by The Economic Times and a repeat presence on the ’40 who matter’ list.
