Vishal Beri, CEO, Hinduja Healthcare Limited

Dr. Vishal Beri is the Chief Executive Officer of Hinduja Healthcare Surgical (HHS), Mumbai. HHS marks the Hinduja group’s foray into the corporate healthcare sector. In his current role, Dr. Beri is responsible for the overall functioning of this hospital and driving strategic healthcare initiatives for the company.

His vision for HHS is to be the best in class neighborhood hospital providing personalized quality medical care and service with an ‘un-hospital’ like engagement with patients and their families. In his words “HHS will provide up-end personalized care in an environment that is accommodating rather than intimidating”.

A medical doctor, Dr. Beri has done his MBBS from KEM hospital, Mumbai and his post-graduation in Orthopedic Surgery from Nair Hospital. He practiced as a Consultant Orthopedic surgeon to four years before moving on to obtain a Management Degree from the prestigious Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad.

Dr. Beri brings with him over 15 years of rich experience in the healthcare domain, both as a clinician as well as a management professional. Prior to HHS, Dr. Beri was the Chief Operating Officer of BGS Global Hospitals, Bangalore, where he was involved with the HIMS implementation, ramping up of hospital capacity, forging strategic alliances with other smaller hospitals within the city as well as preparing the hospital for accreditation.

When not working, he loves travelling and meeting new people. He is also regularly invited for talks and panel discussions at several prominent healthcare forums.

Vishal Chiripal, Promotor/Director, Chiripal Group Of Companies

Vishal serves as the Promotor/Director at Chiripal Group Of Companies and is looking after the operations and Marketing activities of the group. Mr. Chiripal is a key person at Chiripal Group in developing new areas of business and exploring new markets. He is driving new initiatives in the Denim business of the Group. He has been instrumental in setting up several new marketing concepts and also spearheads the group's digital initiatives. He provides strategic leadership to Chiripal's CSR initiatives thereby making the Group the largest Corporate Blood Donor. He is the Chairman of Happiness Reserve Foundation (HRF), a non-profit organisation which conducts Robotex, India focusing on enhancing STEM education to children. He is also an angel investor, a member of Estonia Business Angel Network, Indian Angel Network and Mumbai Angels, with his widespread investments mainly in startups in the space of EV, Fintech, Edutech, Robotics, and Aerospace. He has experience of over 19 years in the textile Industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from K.S School of Business Management, Ahmedabad and Adelphi University, New York. He also holds a Master's degree in Business Management (Marketing) from Clark University, Boston. He is a fitness enthusiast with an interest in running and playing squash.

Vishal Gada is a Director in KPMG India’s Tax & Regulatory Practice. He focuses on the Gujarat market.

Vishal is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has also completed the “Business Consultancy Studies”  Course conducted by Jamanalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies jointly with the Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society. He also holds the Bachelor of Laws degree.

Vishal practices in the field of Domestic and International Taxation, including Transfer Pricing, with specific emphasis on cross border transactions and regulatory laws with respect to Inbound and Outbound Investments. He advises various reputed corporate groups in Gujarat, including private equity funds.

Vishal is the founder and managing partner of Gandhi & Associates— a leading Indian law firm which focuses on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital/private equity transactions, and business disputes.

Vishal specializes in transactional work and on business/commercial disputes. He represents both investors and investee companies. Vishal Gondal, Founder and CEO, GOQii Inc

Born on (14 July 1976) Vishal is an Indian entrepreneur and an angel investor who started his entrepreneurial journey at the age of 16. He is the founder and CEO of GOQii (pronounced Go-Key) and is famously known as the “Father of the Indian Gaming Industry”. In 1999 he founded the game development and publishing company Indiagames. Having taken the company to amazing heights, in 2012, IndiaGames was acquired by the Walt Disney Company for $100 million, post which he served as Managing Director Digital, Disney UTV.

By 2009 IndiaGames had approximately 300 employees and offices in Mumbai, Beijing, London and Los Angeles. Gondal sold a majority of stake holds (adding up to 76.29% of the company) to TOM online Games, a subsidiary of TOM Online Inc, in 2009 and retained his position as CEO

In 2008, Gondal launched Sweat and Blood Venture group to invest in startups at a seed level. The organization has invested in Instablogs and Docsuggest, among others. Amongst other achievements Vishal was listed among the top 50 executives in the mobile content space by the UK based 'Mobile Entertainment' Magazine alongside prodigies such as Steve Jobs. Additionally he has also presented at the INK Conferences in Mumbai.

For recreation he enjoys running Marathons, Ultras, Trekking & Sky Diving. His love for the outdoors and pushing oneself physically dates to his growing years when he was a national level volleyball player. Vishal is a long time TEDster, gadget & gizmo freak and a judge on two television shows 'The Pitch' on Bloomberg TV & 'Your Wish is my App' on NDTV. His passion for technology, fitness & gaming led him to his next venture GOQii which is focused on helping people make a change towards a healthier lifestyle and be the force of good.
