Saurabh has 20+ years of experience across the credit and financing business in Asia and has been part of the founding team at lnCred Group since 2016.
Saurabh is the CIO for alternative credit strategies for lnCred Capital and also looks at the SME lending business at lnCred Finance, the NBFC arm.
Prior to joining lnCred, Saurabh was a Managing Director at Deutsche Bank leading the private financing and performing credit business for India and Southeast Asia. He was running a team of 25 analysts and structurers split across India, Singapore and Hong Kong and was responsible for the direct lending, leverage, and acquisition financing and holdco financings.
Prior to this, Saurabh worked for Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong as part of their private equity business focused on Indian markets. He started his career at ICICI Securities in their investment banking services.
Saurabh has post graduate diploma in management from 11M Bangalore, is a CFA charter holder and an undergraduate degree in commerce and accounting from St Xavier's College, Kolkata.

Saurabh Kochhar is the CEO of foodpanda India and Chief Business Officer of global operations. Saurabh is at the helm of the the strategic growth of the company, which has established itself as the largest online food ordering platform over the last few years.
Saurabh embarked upon his entrepreneurial journey with printvenue.com in the year 2012. Prior to co-founding Printvenue.com Saurabh worked with top global organisations such as McKinsey & Co and Oracle India. It is in these companies that he garnered the sound professional grounding and business acumen that he applied to his own enterprise and foodpanda thereafter.
A recipient of many prestigious accolades, Saurabh has been named as “The Most Talented Retail professional of India” by Asia Retail Congress and “Entrepreneur of the year in Manufacturing Business - Printing 2014”. His entrepreneurial accomplishments are suitably complemented by an illustrious academic track record. He has a B.Tech degree from IIT-Roorkee and an MBA from IIM-Calcutta, where he was the sole recipient of the Shri Ratan Tata Scholarship for the year 2009.

Saurabh Kumar, Senior Director, FTI Consulting
- Banking: Saurabh has worked with a leading financial institution as a retained counsel for their legal due diligence needs, as well as representations before specific banking courts such as Debt Recovery Tribunals, Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunals, and designated SARFAESI Courts for recovery of dues/ Sale of collateral assets of debtors. Saurabh’s roles also entailed improving legal due diligence and undertaking secured collateral due diligence. Work also included vetting and supervising the vendors/ collection agencies who would work with the financial institutions.
- Electronic Goods: Led the vendor and retail due diligence exercise for a leading mobile phone manufacturer in India. The requirement was to set up a programme for the audit team and include surprise checks at retail and wholesalers concerning the follow-up on established company policies and suggesting recommendations to improve issues in the supply chain to prevent pilferages and better reporting of sales bottlenecks to the company management.
- Real Estate Investigation into various real estate firms as well as large broker houses for pre-investigations and due diligence. Looking into the profiles, finances, network, and reputation of the companies and their promoters.
- Legal support, Criminal investigation: Led various assignments assisting law firms and in-house legal teams with investigation support, including document review, liaising with police and other law enforcement agencies, as well as with the Prosecutors' office.
- Legal support, Court-appointed commissioner: Led FTI Team in providing technical, logistical, and investigation support in assignments where the court had appointed a Local Commissioner. Assignments included legal support to court-appointed “morning raids” at suspected premises, collection and review of the evidence, and submitting expert support evidence to the Court Commissioner.
- Legal Support, Intellectual Property Infringement: Leading FTI investigations practice in supporting law firms and in-house teams in collecting, reviewing, and submitting expert reports on suspected Intellectual Property infringement, especially in Trademark infringement and passing off matters and identification of manufacture of counterfeit products.
- TSCM, Counterbugging – Led FTI Investigations into sweeping large areas to check for any eavesdropping or corporate espionage devices at offices and residential complexes.

Saurabh has worked on assignments ranging from due diligence and electronic compliance at Multi-National Corporations to investigations into probable FCPA violations by listed US Corporations. Saurabh has advised both law firms as well as in-house legal and compliance teams on issues arising from deviations from compliances & SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to issues relating to the collection & admissibility of evidence and conducting related investigations.
