Sandeep Adukia, Senior Managing Director, BPEA Credit

Mr. Sandeep Adukia has 29 years of experience across wholesale lending, retail lending and institutional brokerage with specialized knowledge of Indian capital markets. As Senior Managing Director, Mr. Adukia leads business development efforts developing valuable sourcing channels for the business and managing investee company relationships. Mr. Adukia also oversees fund raise efforts in India. Prior to joining BPEA Credit, Mr. Adukia was head of the Capital Markets business at Religare Finvest Limited, managing all aspects of wholesale and retail lending for capital markets. Before that, Mr. Adukia worked at Citigroup as Head of Capital Market Finance and with HDFC Bank in the Capital Markets business. Mr. Adukia started his career in Collections with India Securities Ltd in addition to his work in Capital Markets business. Mr. Adukia holds an MBA from Mumbai University.

Sandeep Aggarwal is the Founder & CEO, Droom. Sandeep is the only tech entrepreneur in India to Found two-unicorns back-to-back i.e. Droom and ShopClues and author of best-selling book Fall Again and Rise Again.

In April 2014, Sandeep started Droom, an AI and data sciences-driven e-commerce platform offering 21st century experienced for the automobile. In Oct 2010 Sandeep started ShopClues first ever marketplace in India and the 5th Unicorn in India and fastest way to reach Unicorn at that time. Sandeep Aggarwal is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, internet visionary and philanthropist. He is widely regarded as the father of marketplaces in the Indian Internet ecosystem - having founded ShopClues in 2011 - India’s first managed marketplace, which became 5th Unicorn in Consumer Internet in India & Droom in 2014 - India’s first marketplace for automobiles.Droom is only auto portal in the world to own the entire ecosystem for automobile with marketplace, pricing, inspection, history and fintech tools. Sandeep is passionate about Digitizing India through mentoring startups, especially on entrepreneurship traits and skills.

Sandeep Ahuja, MD, VLCC Health Care Ltd

Sandeep Ahuja is Managing Director with VLCC Health Care Ltd. Prior to his current assignment Sandeep was responsible for VLCC’s foray in international markets, based out of Dubai and earlier led the Group’s subsidiary that manufactures and markets personal care products.

Sandeep’s wide and varied experience of over 2 decades spans marketing, brand communications, new market development and profit-centre management. Prior to joining VLCC, he was Director & CEO of Lexicon PR & Corporate Consultants Ltd., an affiliate of the Omnicom Group company, Fleishman-Hillard, Inc., one the world’s largest communications consultancies. He was largely responsible for establishing Lexicon as one of the top 10 communications consultancies in India and worked with a host of prestigious companies as clients, including Avon, Domino’s, Goodyear, Lufthansa, Timex and United Airlines.

A graduate in economics and a postgraduate in marketing & advertising, Sandeep started his career in advertising. Later, he settled down to a long and loaded stint at Escorts Limited, one of the largest engineering conglomerates in India, before taking up the challenge of establishing a full service communications consultancy from the ground up. He moved on to join VLCC in 2002.

Sandeep is also the Chairman of the Wellness Committee as well as a member of the National Executive Committee of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) for two years running now.
