Rutvik Doshi, Director, Inventus Capital Partners

Rutvik Doshi joined Inventus after 12 years of successful technology industry operating roles. Mr. Doshi has participated in India’s fast emerging internet ecosystem since 2007, first with Google where he launched several products including Voice Search, Google Mobile App, SMS Channels and managed Google News globally, and most recently as the CEO of ecommerce startup Taggle in Bangalore. Before Google he spent 6 years in the U.S. building internet management software for CA Technologies and a startup. Mr. Rutvik Doshi holds a B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur and an MBA from INSEAD, France. He also holds 6 patents.


Ryan Fernandes, Head- Strategic Investments, Pidilite Industries Ltd.

He currently heads the strategic Investments function at Pidilite Industries Ltd where he leads strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, Mergers, start-up investments and strategic partnerships such as Joint ventures and other strategic alliances. Last year he played a pivotal role in Pidilite’s biggest ever acquisition and integration of the Araldite brand from the Huntsman group. Apart from driving the strategic investment initiatives he is also responsible for working on the finance strategy of these acquired entities. Over his stint with Pidilite he has played multiple roles where he was responsible for commercial finance, spearheading and streamlining the newly acquired brands, and later was instrumental in driving the manufacturing, depot and plant finance function. He currently serves as an Investor observer on the Board of Aapkapainter solutions Pvt. Ltd.

He is also associated with the ICAI, Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and Chamber of Tax consultants in various capacities and has served on various committees. On the extra-curricular side of things he has won numerous accolades in Debates, Elocutions and Singing and has taken classical training under the guidance of Pdt. Murli Manohar Shukla. He is also involved in numerous philanthropic activities. His hobbies are singing, traveling, cooking and reading. He is an avid reader and loves reading in his spare time.


Ryan Pinto, CEO, Ryan International Group of Institutions | @RyanIntlGrp

Mr. Ryan Pinto is CEO of the Ryan International Group of Institutions. One of India's youngest social entrepreneurs in the K-12 education sector, he has grown the Ryan International Group of Institutions (RIGI) in India and overseas, to over 125 institutions, educating more than 250,000 students. Mr. Pinto hopes to transform "traditional" schools into dynamic, interactive learning environments that benefit not only students, teachers and direct stakeholders, but also their communities, cities and country. He strongly advocates the use of technological tools to educate each and every child of India. Mr. Pinto was instrumental in the inception of the Ryan Group's international curriculum schools, the Ryan Global Schools, and in establishing the group's highly successful overseas schools in the United Arab Emirates.

Amongst numerous other awards, Mr. Pinto was recognized most recently as one of Asia’s Emerging Business Leaders by WCRC & Ernst & Young held in London, UK. He studied at Warwick University and Aston University, and received a master's degree in business and entrepreneurship from Cass Business School, London.


S Chandra Kumar, MD, KMC Hospital

Dr S Chandrakumar is a postgraduate doctor by profession with over 18 years of reputed clinical experience in managing patients and managing multi speciality hospitals.

He is a life member in Indian Medical Council and Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists. He was selected by the CII as one of the 101 best Entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu for year 2008-09.

He has been selected for the young Turks of Trichy Award by Periyar Maniammai Trust headed by Sri.Veeramani for the year 2008-09.

He is the current Chairman Trichy CII zone- for the year 2011-12 and he is also Charter Chairman Trichy Kendra of Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan- a movemet for cultural renaissance across the country.

He is the founder and the Managing Director of Kavery group- multi-speciality hospitals which has a renowned brand value in and around Trichy and soon establishing in Chennai and Hosur.

He has been bestowed with “Vocational Excellence Award for the Rotary year 2010-11” by the Rotary club of Trichirapalli Rock city. He holds the membership of the Boards of many other health care companies.


S Chandrakumar, MD, Kavery Medical Care

Dr. S. Chandrakumaris a Master of Doctorate in Anesthesiologist with over 18 years of reputed clinical experience and managing multi speciality hospitals. He is a life member in Indian Council and Indian Society of Anesthesiologists and also Executive member of Health Care Sub Committee in Confederation of Indian Industry and selected by the same as one of the 101 best Entrepreneurs in Tamil Nadu.

He is one of the Five members of the Health Care panel of Tamil Nadu. He is the promoter and the Managing Director of Sri Kavery Medical Care (Trichy) Private Limited.


S Dilli Raj, CFO, SKS Microfinance Ltd

Dilli Raj has 23 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, policy advocacy and corporate tax planning. He has consummated joint venture deals with global giants. He has done his Masters in Business Administration from the Central University of Pondicherry.

He joined SKS in January 2008 and introduced mainstream financial products into microfinance. He has prepared SKS for its IPO by strengthening the financial system and by automating accounting and cash management processes. He played a lead role in managing SKS’ IPO in August 2010, which was oversubscribed 13.6 times.

Dilli Raj had a strategic role in SKS' turnaround and managing the AP MFI crisis by focusing on cash flow management, cost structure optimization and gaining the confidence of credit grantors. He lead managed SKS’ QIP issue in July 2012. Dilli Raj has led the policy advocacy efforts which have resulted in a more conducive environment for the MFIs and largely mitigated the regulatory risk. He is a member of the financial inclusion committee of FICCI. 


S Durgashankar, Executive VP - Mergers & Acquisitions, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd

Durga is a Chartered Accountant by training. He joined Mahindra in 1997 and has held various important positions, including Treasurer and Senior Vice President – Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A). In June 2009, Durga joined Mahindra Satyam as CFO, where he provided critical leadership in setting up systems and processes in Finance, Accounts, Treasury, and Commercial Operations in addition to tackling multiple complex matters like recasting the accounts for the past several years and handling legal cases.

 

He also successfully completed his mandate of ensuring that the Company became current with respect to its IGAAP filings. In April 2011, he was made the Executive Vice President – M&A for the Group, and given the additional responsibility of overseeing the Secretarial function and BPO operations of the company.
