Ramganesh Iyer, Partner, Bain & Company (Moderator)

Ramganesh Iyer is a partner in Bain & Company’s Mumbai office. He is a member of the firm’s Financial Services, Digital, Strategy and Performance Improvement practices.

With more than 15 years of management consulting experience, Ramganesh has advised and led multiple engagements with banks, insurers, NBFCs and micro-finance institutions in India across strategy, operating model and value creation levers, example- credit scoring, credit operating model, product profitability, due diligence etc.

He has an extensive experience in customer experience and customer journey redesign. He is also a co-founder of a Fintech company specializing in digital wealth management and life/health insurance. Ramganesh hold an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, where he earned the Gold Medalist award. He also received a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology (Mumbai), India.

Ramkumar Krishnamachari, is the Chief Financial Officer of our Company.He has been associated with our Company since August 8, 2010. He is a member of the ICAI and the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

He is also a certified as a Certified Public Accountant by the State Board of Accountancy, Delaware, U.S.A. He is also a CFA Charter Holder from the CFA Institute, U.S.A. He has approximately 22 years of experience in the field of finance and accounting. Prior to joining our Company he worked with Royal Sundaram General Insurance Allied Company Limited.

Ramu Kennedy, Principal, ICICI Venture

Ramu Kennedy joined ICICI Venture in 2008 and is part of the Business Development Team. He focuses on identifying, originating and developing potential investment opportunities in South India for all investment practices at the firm. Prior to joining ICICI Venture, Ramu was with Standard Chartered Bank where he was Director - Origination and Client Coverage, Wholesale Banking. Ramu has also previously worked with reputed organizations including ICICI Bank, TAIB Bank, Global Trade Finance and AF Ferguson. He has over 18 years of experience in financial services across corporate banking, investment banking, trade finance, project finance, structured finance, and advisory/strategic consulting. Ramu has expertise in providing structured cross-border funding solutions to Indian corporates. Ramu has a Bachelor degree in Commerce from Delhi University and is a rank holder Chartered Accountant.

Ramya is a corporate lawyer who specialises in mergers and acquisition, general corporate advisory, projects and banking and finance. She is also a qualified company secretary.

She graduated as a lawyer in 2002 and after a stint in litigation practice, moved on to Amarchand Mangaldas to practice corporate law. In June 2009 she quit Amarchand to co-found Argus Partners. Argus Partners has recently merged with Udwadia and Udeshi, a Mumbai based firm to constitute Udwadia Udeshi and Argus Partners. The firm has offices across the country in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai besides Kolkata. The firm specialises in transaction advisory as well as dispute resolution. Ramya is the partner in charge of the Kolkata office of UUArgus.


Rana Atheya, CEO, Dogspot.in

One needs to have absolute passion and true canine love to take the risk of pursuing a hobby and turning it into a business venture. Mr. Rana Atheya’s love for dogs has served him to establish India’s most visited dog portal, DogSpot.in. As an entrepreneur and a pet lover, Mr. Atheya realized the need of genuine and scientific information about dogs available to the users to make the right decision for their pets. Before setting up the e-commerce division of DogSpot in year 2011, he built a community of pet owners to share experience about pet behaviour. He is responsible for setting the overall direction and product strategy for DogSpot. He leads the expansion of communities and content strategy for the company and manages the development of its core technology and infrastructure. With his vision and technology prowess, Mr. Atheya envisions to make DogSpot a multibillion dollar business in next 5 years. As a leader, he firmly believe that the company’s best assets are the employees and he aims for building a workplace that respects diversity, work life balance, performance and cross group collaboration. He invests in the training, development and recreational activities of the team by offering innovative HR policies. Before founding DogSpot.in, he has performed product management roles at Indiatimes, Ibibo and Aircel. He holds his MBA in Engineering Management from Coventry University, UK. He is actively associated with various support groups that feed stray dogs such as Friendicoes. Apart from his love for pets, Mr. Rana Atheya also takes out time to pursue his hobby of photography.
