Ramakrishna NK, Co-founder & CEO, Rang De and Habba

Ram is the co-founder & Chief Executive Officer of Rang De. He was chosen for the Ashoka Fellowship in 2012 in recognition of Rang De's game-changing efforts to lower the cost of credit. A firm believer in the social business model, he started Rang De in 2008 as a platform to raise social investments for individuals. His conviction that there is a need to lower the cost of microcredit has been instrumental in shaping Rang De's values and beliefs. Prior to starting Rang De, Ram worked as Principal Consultant for Vignette Europe Limited and has consulted for some of the world's best companies.

Ramakrishnan Gopalan, Head - Products, India and South Asia, Visa

Current Position and Responsibilities 
Ramakrishnan Gopalan is the Vice President, Head of Products & Solutions for India and South Asia. In this role, he leads the product team in developing the strategy and the long-term design for the growth of Visa’s product propositions in the region, including India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Maldives. 

Previous Positions  
Prior to joining Visa, Ramakrishnan (Ramki) was with Citi in India and Singapore for nearly 20 years, where he held various positions across Asia Pacific in cards, lending, client engagement, risk mitigation, product development and digital channel teams. Most recently, he was the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Citi’s Regional Cards and Loans team where he drove the digital acquisitions framework of clients with a bespoke strategy using alternate data across markets.

Other Information 
Ramki holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management and a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. He will be based in Mumbai and sit on the INSA leadership team as well as the Asia Pacific Product Leadership team. In his spare time, Ramki enjoys spending time with his family biking together to explore new places around town.

Raman Aggarwal, Director, Finance Industry Development Council

Raman Aggarwal is the Director of Finance Industry Development Council (FIDC) – A Representative body of Assets and Loan Financing Non-Banking Finance Companies. He is currently Consultant to The World Bank, Consultant to Nomura Research Institute Consulting & Solutions India P Ltd.,  Area Head – NBFCs at Council for International Economic Understanding (CIEU) and Advisor, Shriram Transport Finance Ltd., which is one of the leading NBFCs. He is also an Independent Director on the board of Pasialo Digital Ltd., which is a leading NBFC in North India engaged in financing MSMEs on a digital platform. He has more than 29 years of working experience in the NBFC sector.

He has been actively representing the NBFC sector, being a member of Advisory Groups to Ministry of Finance & RBI, Core Group setup by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and Special Task Force at FICCI.. He was the signatory to the Engagement Letters signed by World Bank Group with FIDC. He is the Chairman, Working Group on NBFCs at Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR).

He was awarded the “Best NBFC Exemplary Leader” Award at the ET NOW BFSI Awards and “100 Top Most Influential BFSI Leaders” award at the World BFSI Congress in 2018 & 2019. He has addressed major events and seminars, like Global Convention on Corporate Governance and Sustainability at London, IFC’s Financial Infrastructure Workshop for Da Afghanistan Bank, EuroFinance India, The Economic Times Summit on Financial Inclusion, National Summit on NBFCs and World Auto Congress organized by ASSOCHAM. He has been an invitee to the Pre-budget discussion of the Finance Minister with representatives from banking and financial institutions. He is a Guest Faculty at Institute of Chartered Accountants, India (ICAI), International Management Institute (IMI), New Delhi and Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli.

Raman is Masters in Urban Planning from School of Planning &Architecture, New Delhi and Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. He has also undertaken a Special Training Programme for the Personnel of Non-Banking Finance Companies at RBI College of Agricultural Banking, Pune.


Raman Ahuja, Senior Advisor, Resurgent India Limited

In a career spanning 22 years, Raman held leadership roles managing businesses, creating & executing business strategy and building successful start-ups in Agriculture, Food and Beverage, and has extensive experience in working with emerging modern Indian retail. After obtaining an MBA from University of South Carolina in the USA, he started his career in India with Unilever India, where he did several roles including leading the branded food exports business. Subsequently as a Business Head, he built the Fresh Produce business of FieldFresh Foods Pvt. Ltd - co-owned by Bharti Enterprises, Rothschild & Del Monte Pacific and was instrumental in helping build the fresh produce supply chain for Bharti  Retail. More recently, Raman was the CEO the South Asia operations with one of the largest, privately owned Swiss companies -Firmenich, S.A., expanding the company’s flavours business in the region.

In his career Raman has the unique experience of working alongside daily wage workers, farmers, entrepreneurs, farmer cooperatives, company boards, global retail giants, universities, foundations, multilateral institutions, research organizations, government agencies, & ministries.  The work profile has an added dimension – working at the intersection of food-water-energy, businesses have had an impact on livelihoods, while delivering profits to shareholders.

Raman Khanduja, VP and Head Business Development, India, Visa

Raman Khanduja is the Head of Business Development for Visa in India and is responsible the country Sales and Client Strategy. In this role, he works with leading banks in India and constructively engages them to integrate Visa products and solutions to drive business growth. Prior to this role Raman led Business Development for South Asia which included five countries Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Bhutan. He has diverse experience of over 14 years spanning across in Banking, Consulting and Analytics. Prior to joining Visa in 2009, Raman has had stint at HDFC Bank managing their Product & Portfolio for their Commercial Cards Business. His work experience also extends across Retail Strategy at Centurion Bank, Credit Analytics at American Express and Management Consulting with Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Raman holds a Post Graduate Diploma from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from T.I.E.T, Patiala.
