Govind works as Technical Director at Microsoft Technology Center. He helps enterprise and ISV customers adopt pragmatic solutions. His expertise lies in developing solutions and finding/fixing bottlenecks. Outside work, food, books and movies, travel keeps him busy.
Govind Rajan, Chief Strategy Officer, Snapdeal | @Snapdeal
Govind is the Chief Operating Officer at FreeCharge and Chief Strategy Officer at Snapdeal. Prior to his appointment at Snapdeal, he served as Chief Marketing Officer (B2C) at Bharti Airtel, where he was responsible for revenue and market share growth, customer life cycle management, and building marketing capability across the organisation. Concurrently he also served as CEO - Airtel Money (Airtel M-commerce Services Limited) leading Airtel's foray in the exciting world of mobile money and payments.
At FreeCharge, Govind is spearheading the payments business and has been instrumental in launching the FreeCharge wallet in September 2015. Before joining Airtel, Govind was with Hindustan Unilever (HUL). He joined HUL as a Management Trainee in 1997 before serving in various marketing and leadership roles. While at HUL, he was the Regional Vice President South Asia for Skin Cleansing and prior to that, Vice President for the Skin Care business. He also served as the Customer Marketing and Sales Operations Head of HUL. Govind has a Masters in International Business from Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
Engineering from the University of Madras.
Govind Setlur, Founder & CEO, Wibmo Inc
Former CTO, Silicon Valley Bank, California, Mr. Setlur brings over 30 years of technical management experience across large organizations and start-up companies, both in the US and India. This includes financial institutions such as Silicon Valley Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, as well as companies such as AT&T, KPMG, and UPS.
Mr. Setlur holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India.
Govinda Giri, Founder, Sagoon
But, that is what exactly defines this extraordinary visionary who went to the US to chase his big American dream, struggled for a bit doing odd jobs and finally landed a dream job at the Pentagon, Department of Defense as an IT engineer.
Time passed and something within him started to feel amiss. To everyone’s surprise, he left his dream job and set himself on a quest to developing a search engine that could provide relevant and personalized search results. From the confines of his basement, he started building the search-engine in 2009 under the name Sagoon. That was just the start.
By 2014, he realized that user’s behaviour with respect to their online lives was changing. And that’s when he decided to change the direction of Sagoon from Search to Share. In 2014, he pivoted Sagoon as a social commerce platform to change the way people use social media. His vision for the world was also realized by his two other visionaries, Kabin Sitoula and Swati Dayal who today are the founding pillars of Sagoon. Under Govinda Giri’s leadership, Sagoon has already tasted the success of Sagoon V1, Sagoon V2, two uber-successful rounds of mini-IPO and the launch of our first Android app.

Govindaraj heads enterprise marketing at Vodafone Idea Business Services. He is responsible for enterprise brand, strategy, insights, digital marketing and customer engagements across India. Over 19 years of experience, he has worked with startups, consulting, and global companies. The passion areas include grass-root innovation, books and yoga.
Govindraj Ethiraj, Volunteer, UIDAI
Govindraj Ethiraj is an Indian financial journalist and formerly the Founder Editor-In-Chief at the television channel Bloomberg UTV. He earlier worked with CNBC TV18 before moving to Bloomberg UTV. He is also a well-known technology columnist. He is on a one-year sabbatical with the Unique Identification Authority of India or UIDAI, part of the Planning Commission, Government of India.
Govindraj Ethiraj worked with Economic Times, Business World and Business India. He also worked as a Editor (New Media) at Business Standard. He worked with CNBC TV18 for five years from near start-up point before moving to set up Bloomberg UTV.
Greg Moran, Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer, Zoomcar
Greg has dedicated his entire career to sustainable development across the globe. Over the past six years, Greg worked in various financial, operational, and strategic roles within the international energy and infrastructure sectors. During this time, Greg was involved with projects on six continents, totalling over $12 billion. His primary focal areas within the sector included solar power, wind power, and energy storage. Greg previously held positions in investment banking, private equity, corporate business development, and energy policy formulation with Fieldstone Private Capital Group, Cerberus Capital, International Power, and the City of New York respectively.
Prior to co-founding Zoomcar with David, Greg studied at USC’s Marshall School of Business, where he was the Founder and President of the USC Energy Club, Southern California’s largest such club. Greg is also a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he holds a degree in International Relations.
While he’s not busy Zooming, Greg enjoys playing piano and hitting the golf links. He is also deeply passionate about competitive eating and he remains hopeful that someone will take him up on a dosa eating competition sometime soon.
Gregory Kroitzsh, Founder & Managing Director, The Barking Deer Brewpub | @TheBarkingDeer
Greg grew up in a country inn nestled in the mountains of Vermont USA. The boutique hotel run by his parents catered to tourists and skiers with rooms, restaurant and a quaint pub. Little did he know that this upbringing would be a training ground for opening a brewpub in Mumbai’s hip entertainment center of Lower Parel. He started the project three years ago aiming to bring fresh craft beer in an American style brewpub to thirsty beer lovers of Mumbai. The result of this labor of love is The Barking Deer. His home brewing passion developed from his father’s brewing experiments over 25 years ago. Now Greg gets to brew on a much bigger stage. Greg’s previous work experience includes Banker at Citibank in NYC. He received his MBA at Olin School of Business at Babson College and BA at Dartmouth College.
